We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Judge Huot. Following his retirement from long and distinguished service as a Judge of the New Jersey Superior Court, the Honorable Paul R. Huot joined the firm of Galantucci & Patuto as Of Counsel in 1998. He will forever be remembered as a highly respected jurist, known for his integrity, fairness, and knowledge of the law. During his judicial tenure, he served in all divisions of the Superior Court, including, at different times, as Presiding Judge of both the Chancery and Criminal Divisions. He presided over many complex and high profile cases, both criminal and civil, and was renowned for his unwavering commitment to the administration of justice.
Believing that our judicial system is only as strong as the legal professionals that act as its guardians, Judge Huot served as an adjunct professor of law at Seton Hall University School of Law, specializing in the rules of evidence, and as an instructor at the New Jersey Judicial College. He was also a member of the Disciplinary Review Board and the Judicial Performance Committee. His dedication to the judicial system and the individuals who practice law within it will forever serve as an inspiration for all of us.
