Penalties for a THIRD or MORE DWI NJSA 39:4-50

• 180 days jail of which 90 can be served in an approved inpatient treatment program;

• 8 year loss of license- interlock thereafter for 2 to 4 years;

• 48-hours Intoxicated Drivers Resource Center;

• Between $250 and $400 in fines.;

• A $1,000 annual automobile insurance surcharge for three years;

• Other fees and surcharges in excess of $525.
